2009 Donations
Animal Shelter
Receives $550
Employees of Colorado
Valley Communications made their annual Santa Paws donation to
the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter on December 22.
Presenting Niki Powell, Director of the shelter with a $550
check is Colorado Valley General Manager Scott Martin.
Also on hand for the presentation were employees Randy
Freudenberg, Melissa Dockery, Laurie Boehm, Rosa Filmore,
Bonnie Schielack, Kay Loehr, and Darlia Maxwell.

Local Fire Department's
Receive $14,300
Tuesday, November 10 , 2009 - La Grange
Thirteen Volunteer Fire Departments were the recipients of the
proceeds from Colorado Valley Communications annual Hotter
Than Heck Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament this year
made a profit of $14,300 - all of which was equally divided
between the fire departments.
